Filter the servers for TAW. The Art of Warfare!
i used to be a member, in fact, a senior member! I quit! YOU Know WHY!? I played with ME, myself and I.... Day in and day out, NOBODY me. Their entire team at the time was all UK at the time and I was lonesome.
There was a few other factors....
Such ass I was a noobie to ARMA 2 and insanely hyped up. And made posts such as: ARMA 2 is the SHIT, best game ever!.... Being a big gaming community as they are, THATS a big NO NO! eVERYONE HAS A DIFF OPINION, ARMA 2 CANT be better than left 4 dead, or Spaceboy4, ...lol
HOWEVER, look at THEIR SERVER NOW...DO IT! I DARE YA!
You will see 2 FULL servers at almost ALL times! With lots of restrictions!
Peolple and TEAMWORK ARE THE KEY, NOT REINVENTING THE WHEEL AND NEW MAPS!
I left F2F for almost the same reason. They said, this game was not meant to be played only against AI...AGREED... But, in their mind, if you were not ACTIVELY LEARNING and or creating maps, mods, scripts or missions....you were basically worthless. You weren't contributing, NOT part of the solution, YOU MUST BE THE PROBLEM! Almost seems, like we are following the same trend here...
If I play and donate and, I am bored cuz No one else does, I am radical, or nuts or outrageous!
Maybe, Gibbers should all UNITE and DO SOMETHING!, by do something I dont mean necessarily, reinvent.
Its just like...Build it and THEY WILL COME...
Build it meaning...POPULATE! If you get on TW's training map or domination and 2 or 3 ppl join, it will grow!. It may take even a week or 2, cuz we are we behind as I see it! CONSISTENCY! (we had young guy that was HARDCORE consistent, I forget his name but you know who I am talking about)
So as I see it, we got 4 dedicated players as of now, lets stay on the same map and ALL be ON, I don't care what it is.....And lets see if we can get some PEEPS!
Those ARE PPL I want to train!, Show them things they never knew, NOT an obstacle course or shooting range but REAL in game things they need to know...
The, complete the best time obstacle course thing to win a free cool headset is probably a really good idea,. BUT, How many OUTSIDE peeps have we got, our recruited becuz of it, ....just needs a little tweaking...

And, we got serious membership probs, to the point I am playing a 3 year old game and having more fun until I got some backup or participation.

Once again, Please DO NOT believe ME! Remember DOMINATION SUCKS ASS and NO ONE PLAYS IT RIGHT???? And I ONLY use this as an example, I AM SICK OF DOMINATION PERSONALLY.
I just ask that you ALL do ONE thing, FILTER the game for TAW and look at the particpation.
They must be doing something right, FUNNY Thing is... I was ONE of the BIGGEST HATERS of Domination at the time....lol...Cuz my skill level was weak.
Everything I know about this game was because of countless hours BY MYSELF.
I am the ultimate LONEWOLF, and NOT BY CHOICE, So I admit sometimes I am NOT a great teamplayer, Because I fell like I have literally played this game by myself for almost 2 years now. I don't want to give up on it, But i feel very close as it seems now.
If this thread or post is taken negatively, which is NOT my intent, then just go ahead and do me a SOLID FAVOR and just ban me ME and kick me out of GIB.
My only only goal or reason TO EVER POST is to promote ARMA 2 and have a GREAT TEAM ORIENTED gaming experience.....
